A bond means "the fact of dependence or unification of members of a given group of people around specific values or performed social functions" according to Polish, well known sociologist Jan Turowski. Of the types of bonds - social, family and emotional, in the context of communities, we are primarily interested in emotional, then social. We try to develop social bonds during the workshops of our Community Building School.

On the other hand, emotional bonds arise naturally during the Community Building Workshops. Or rather, they do not arise, but emerge. Bonds can be created during joint activities, through common misery, helping each other in difficult situations as our internal proof of gratitude. And they always require care, without it they weaken and die.

During community building workshops, these bonds are special. They arise suddenly and often after the workshops, if they are not nurtured - they die. But the experience of incredible potential that is in each of us remains, which allows them to be nano-reborn whenever such a need arises.
